Pakistan beat New Zealand in the T20 World Cup making space for final

Kathmandu: After defeating New Zealand, Pakistan has reached the finals of T20 World Cup Cricket.

Pakistan defeated New Zealand by seven wickets in the match held in Sydney on Wednesday.

The target of 153 runs given by New Zealand was met by Pakistan in 19 overs 1 ball after losing only three wickets.

Earlier, New Zealand, who won the toss and batted, scored 152 runs after losing four wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.

For the first time since 2009, the Pakistan team has reached the finals of the T20 World Cup. Pakistan won the title of the second edition (2009) by defeating Sri Lanka by eight wickets in the final.

Meanwhile, India is playing in the semi-finals early Thursday between India and England. The final match will start next Sunday at 2 pm.
