Only 58 percent people in Nepal have financial literacy

Kathmandu: Financial literacy at the overall national level has reached 57.9 percent.

In the Financial Literacy survey released by Nepal Rastra Bank, the financial literacy score of men is higher than that of women.

It is mentioned in the survey report of Rashtra Bank that the financial literacy score of men was found to be 61.8 percent. According to the Central Bank, the literacy rate of men is 7.5 percent higher than that of women.

It is mentioned in the central survey report that the three dimensions of financial literacy are financial knowledge 47.3 percent, financial behavior 63.5 percent and financial attitude 62.9 percent.
