Kathmandu: Another person in Nepal has been confirmed to be infected with the Omicron variant of Corona virus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection has been confirmed in a 58-year-old man through gene sequencing.
Earlier, Omicron infection was confirmed in two persons on December 6. The Omicron was found in a 66-year-old foreign national who had come from the affected country and another person who came in contact with him.
Now the number of confirmed cases of Omicron variant in Nepal has reached three.
