Kathmandu: Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal laid the foundation stone of the new building of the Provincial Infectious Diseases Hospital and Emergency Room of Bharatpur Hospital in Bharatpur, Chitwan on Monday afternoon.
While the government laid the foundation stone of the hospital at 396 local levels on Monday, Health Minister Dhakal reached Chitwan to lay the foundation stone of the hospital building.
With the objective of providing access to basic health care to all, the foundation stone has been laid for 396 15-bed hospitals at the local level and infectious disease hospitals in all the provinces.
On the occasion, Minister Dhakal said that no municipality in the country would be without a hospital. He said that the construction of 396 local level hospitals has been started on Monday and all the citizens will get easy access to health services.
