Nepali worker dies in floods in UAE

Kathmandu: A Nepali laborer has tragically lost his life in floods that struck the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Mohan Pun from Bharatpur met his demise in the floods that occurred during his journey from Sharjah to Ajman.

The embassy informed that Pun was employed at a café restaurant located in the same area where he resided. Heavy rains causing floods have been prevalent in the UAE for the past two days. The closure of government offices due to the floods has made it difficult to gather further information about the deceased, as reported by the embassy.

Due to the closure of government offices, the embassy could not gather additional information regarding the deceased. The embassy further informed that a visit visa had been issued to Pun’s family, who have arrived in the UAE.
