Nepali citizenship found with Chinese woman arrested in India

Kathmandu: A Chinese woman has been arrested on charges of espionage in India.

According to the Times of India, the Delhi Police arrested the woman, identified as Kai Ruo, from Manjuka Tila area of ​​North Delhi on Thursday. She was living in a Tibetan refugee camp there.

The woman from China’s Hainan province had been living in India since 2019 as a Nepali citizen.

It has been mentioned that she was arrested after suspicious activities of the woman were seen around various ministries and departments of India. She is suspected to be a spy.

Nepalese citizenship has been recovered from her. Her name in citizenship is written as Dolma Lama.
