Nepali Army to provide 10,600 weapons to APF

Kathmandu: The Nepali Army has provided about 600 weapons to the Armed Police Force (APF).

At a function held at the Army Headquarters ‘Jangi Adda’, Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma handed over 500 Insas rifles and 90 other rifles to Inspector General of APF Shailendra Khanal.

The army has also provided various weapons and ammunition.

A meeting of the cabinet decided to provide 10,600 weapons to the Armed Police Force for training, security of special and very special people, office security and conducting large scale programs.
