Nepal wins over Papua New Guinea

Kathmandu: Nepal has won the match against Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the Cricket World Cup League Two. Nepal defeated PNG by 7 wickets.

Nepal reached the target of 174 for victory by losing 3 wickets in 37 overs.

Kushal Bhurtel and Arif Sheikh completed half-centuries to help Nepal win.

Papua New Guinea, which started bating after losing the toss, lost 8 wickets in 50 overs and scored 173 runs.

Nepal’s Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane took 2-2 wickets while Karan KC, Arif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airy and Pawan Sharaf took 1-1 wickets.
