Kathmandu: Nepal defeated Uzbekistan 3-2 to bag the title ‘Asian Central Zone Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup.’
Nepal has defeated Uzbekistan 26-24, 24-26, 25-15, 22-25, 15-11 at the Shahid Sohrawardy National Indoor Stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Tuesday.
In the women’s competition, Nepal, Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan competed. Nepal had made it to the finals by defeating all the teams even in the league stage.
