Kathmandu: Nepal won the second ODI against Papua New Guinea (PNG) by a wide margin of 151 runs. Nepal, who had earlier won the first match by two wickets, has won the series 2-0.
Following the target of 234 runs set by Nepal in the match in Oman, PNG was all out for 82 runs in 19.1 overs.
Opener Tony Ura was the top scorer for PNG with 19 runs. Other batsmen were dismissed badly.
Earlier, Nepal had won the first ODI against PNG by 2 wickets.
Nepal played a one-day series against PNG in preparation for the triangular series of ICC World Cup League-2.
Nepal is playing a triangular series against USA and home team Oman. The series will start on September 13 and end on September 19.
In the series, Nepal will play two games each against Oman and USA.
Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Oman, USA, Scotland, Namibia and United Arab Emirates (UAE) are in the World Cup League-2. Nepal has so far played two games each with Oman and USA under League-2.
