Nepal to play ODI with Ireland for the first time

Kathmandu: Nepal will play Test nation Ireland on Tuesday in the final match of the ICC ODI World Cup Qualifiers.

Nepal defeated UAE by three wickets in the semi-final match for the seventh place and secured a match with Ireland.

Nepal and Ireland are going to play one day international for the first time. This is the third match that Nepal is going to play against a Test playing nation.

Earlier, Nepal has played against Zimbabwe and West Indies.

In the World Cup Qualifiers, Nepal was eliminated from the group stage after finishing fourth in Group ‘A’ with 3 losses and 1 win in 4 matches.
