Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has prohibited vehicles inside Hanumandhoka premises.
The metropolis has prohibited vehicles inside the area saying that the originality, beauty and environment of the premises must be calm, clean and picturesque.
Balendra Shah, the mayor of the metropolis, said that being a historical, cultural and heritage site, durbar square area should be peaceful and calm.
