Nepal Condemns terrorist attack at Moscow concert, extends condolences

Kathmandu: Nepal expressed deep sorrow and condemnation over the terrorist attacks that occurred during a musical concert in Moscow, issuing a statement through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

In the statement released on Saturday, Nepal extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the Russian Federation’s people and government, as well as to the victims and their families.

The government reiterated Nepal’s firm stance against terrorism and called for swift justice against the perpetrators, while also wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

The attack occurred on Friday when gunmen, dressed in military uniforms, launched a violent assault with firearms and explosives at Crocus City Hall in Moscow. The incident resulted in at least 60 fatalities and 145 injuries.

The ISIS group has reportedly claimed responsibility for the assault, which has prompted international condemnation and calls for decisive action against terrorism.
