Kathmandu: Ncell Axiata Limited has expanded 4G service in Jumla.
Extending the service, Ncell has extended its 4G service to Jumla, a remote district of Karnali Province, in line with its commitment to ensure everyone has access to modern mobile broadband connectivity.
Ncell has installed three new towers one by one in Chandannath Municipality, Tila Rural Municipality and Tatopani Rural Municipality of the district.
Locals including district headquarters Khalanga are already benefiting from access to mobile broadband and voice services.
Earlier, the company was providing basic mobile services in Jumla through V-SAT technology.
After Ncell expanded 4G to Chandannath Nagarpali, Tila Rural Municipality and Tatopani Rural Municipality, 4G service access i.e. coverage has reached 91.39 percent of the total population.
