More than 100 children escapes from Juvenile Correction home

Kathmandu: More than 100 children have escaped from the Juvenile Correction Home Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.

There are 256 children in the center, except for 32 teenage girls and some minor children, others have escaped.

Although some of them have been arrested again, other are still being searched for.

Those who are involved in various crimes but are under the age of 18 are placed in correctional homes after court order.

They ransacked the correction home saying that they were not given food and the health examination was not good.

Tension started there yesterday after the death of 18-year-old Kamal Basnet of Manthali Municipality-3 of Ramechhap, who was in the correction home.
