NAC to operate regular flights to Saudi from April 21

Kathmandu: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is going to start regular flights to Saudi Arabia from April 21. For the first time, a national flag carrier will fly to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on a regular basis.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has already given permission to Nepal Airlines for commercial flights. It was allowed to fly to Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

The corporation is about to start regular flights in the Kathmandu-Riyadh-Kathmandu sector as per the business plan. The corporation had been preparing to fly on this route for a long time.

Earlier, only Himalaya Airlines was allowed to fly to Saudi Arabia. Now that the corporation has regular flights, it is estimated that the fare on this route will be cheaper.
