Kathmandu: A narrow-body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has been grounded due to technical problems.
According to NAC narrow-body A320 aircraft 9N-AKW has been grounded. The plane landed on a flight from Kathmandu to Doha and had an engine problem while being taken to the parking lot.
The problem has been identified in the left engine of the aircraft and the management of the corporation has consulted the engine manufacturer. It has been suggested to replace and repair the engine.
The corporation’s widebody aircraft A330 had seen problems while preparing for the Kathmandu-Narita flight. The problem of this aircraft has been repaired by the engineering team of the corporation by importing spare parts from Sri Lanka.
