Kathmandu: The government has decided to give cash prizes to the winners of the Asian Central Zone Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup.
A meeting of the cabinet on Wednesday decided to give cash prizes to the players, coaches and officials who won the Central Zone Women’s Volleyball Challenge Cup.
It has been decided to give Rs 5 lakh each to 12 players in the title winning team, Rs 300,000 each to two coaches and Rs 200,000 to one official.
Nepal had defended the title of Central Zone Women’s Volleyball by defeating Uzbekistan 3-2 in the final held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Tuesday.
