Kathmandu: As of Thursday, more than 158,000 people across the country have been vaccinated against the corona virus (Covid 19).
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam in a press release issued on Thursday, said that a total of 158,487 target groups have been vaccinated from 201 vaccination centers in 77 districts.
According to the ministry, 21,754 people have been vaccinated in Province 1, 21,185 in Province 2, 55,504 in Bagmati, 17,267 in Gandaki, 23,798 in Lumbini, 8,072 in Karnali and 10,907 in Far Western Province.
Stating that the vaccination campaign started on January 29 and will continue till Saturday, the ministry took the identity card with registration certificate and photo of Nepal Medical Council, Nepal Nursing Council, Nepal Health Practitioners Council, Nepal Ayurveda Medical Council and Nepal Pharmacy Council to prevent them from being deprived of vaccination services. The concerned vaccination center has also informed to make arrangements for vaccination.
