Kathmandu: The number of people receiving at least the first dose of vaccine against corona virus in Nepal has exceeded 10 million.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 227,584 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. Till now, 8.5 million have been fully vaccinated in Nepal. Similarly, 10 million 30 thousand people have received at least first dose, according to the ministry.
Amid this, an additional 316 people have been infected with the corona virus in the last 24 hours.
With the recovery of 259 more people, the number of those who have been cured of the corona infection has reached 803,168.
During the same period, the number of deaths due to corona infection has reached 11,529.
At present, 6,954 people are actively infected in Nepal, according to the Ministry of Health.
