Kathmandu: On the day of Dashain Mahanavami, today, Tuesday, light and moderate rainfall affected over the country. Due to today’s rain, vehicular movement has also been affected.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, the Monsoon low pressure line is located to the north and today there is a partial to normal change in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Madhes Province and Bagmati Province.
At present, light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in some parts of Gandaki Province, Lumbini Province and few places in the rest of the province.
Similarly, on the day of Bijaya Dashami tomorrow, Wednesday, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the western part of the country, while there will be light rain in other places.
According to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places in Madhes province.
