Kathmandu: Nepal has made a good start in the SAFF U-20 Championship by defeating Maldives by 4-0.
In the match held on Monday at the Kalinda Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India, Nepal kept Maldives under pressure from the beginning.
Dipesh Gurung, Sugam Suwal, Kritish Ratna Chunju and Mangya Nakarmi scored goals for Nepal.
Nepal will play its second match of the tournament against Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
