Kathmandu: The meeting of the House of Representatives convened for Wednesday has been postponed. At the request of the government, tomorrow’s meeting has been postponed.
Speaker Sapkota had instructed the Parliament Secretariat to issue notice of adjournment of the meeting. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had planned to table the MCC at the meeting. But there is no consensus on the issue within the ruling coalition.
It is said that the Prime Minister took time to reach an agreement on MCC. The MCC table was not on the agenda of tomorrow’s meeting. It is said that the speaker was requested to adjourn the sitting after Prime Minister Deuba summoned the leaders.
