Mayor Balen commits to build statue of rapper Yamabuddha on his own expenses

Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) Mayor Balen Sah has said that he will build the statue of the late rapper Yambuddha using his salary.

Mayor Balen was in controversy after he announced to make a statue of Yama Buddha from the budget of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

Balen was opposed saying that the budget was kept in the plan of his personal desire rather than the needs of the metropolitan people.

Writing a status on Facebook on Saturday afternoon, Balen announced that he would make a statue of Yamabuddha from his salary.
