Labour minister requests not to give any money to anyone for seasonal work permit

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has requested not to give money to anyone for seasonal work permit.

Ministry has issued a notice addressing people who are applying for seasonal visa and has requested not to give a penny to anyone.

Recently, fraud cases have increased in the name of seasonal visa. People are going abroad as a seasonal worker giving a huge amount to agents. Meanwhile, most of the people with seasonal visa are being stranded in different countries including Myanmar.

Labor approval has not been granted by the Foreign Employment Department to go to foreign employment as a seasonal worker.

Therefore, people do not need to pay money to anyone to go to other countries including South Korea for seasonal worker visa, and if someone requests money to be sent as a seasonal worker to other countries including South Korea, personally or institutionally, all types of unauthorized foreign employment should be notified to the ministry.
