Kathmandu: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and Kathmandu University have agreed to promote green hydrogen technology to contribute to the economy and make better use of hydropower.
Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Bhola Thapa and NEA Managing Director Kulman Ghising signed the MoU.
Hariraj Neupane, Head of Green Hydrogen Lab under Kathmandu University and Associate Professor Biraj Singh Thapar, Deputy Managing Director of NEA, has signed the testimony.
This Agreement will be valid for five years from the date of signing. The bilateral agreement will promote green hydrogen technology in Nepal by developing the knowledge, expertise and manpower related to the interest of Nepal Electricity Authority and the government mainly for the upliftment of green hydrogen technology in Nepal.
