Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has asked the Ministry of Home Affairs for help in removing the Slum settlement on the banks of the Bagmati River in Thapathali.
The metropolis has sent a letter on Thursday and has asked for help from the Home Ministry to remove the Slum settlement on the banks of the Bagmati River in Thapathali.
It is mentioned in the letter sent by the metropolis that they have repeatedly tried to remove the structures built illegally on the banks of the Bagmati River and this work should be carried forward as a campaign.
The metropolis will be requested to give the necessary instructions and coordination to the relevant district administration and security agencies through the ministry.
