Kathmandu: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has started free ambulance service. Mayor Balendra Shah has asked to call 102 to get the service.
The service is being provided free of charge in collaboration with an NGO called ‘Nepal Ambulance’.
The metropolis is currently providing the expenses for operating 10 ambulances.
He said that more ambulances are being used for road traffic accidents and dialysis patients in the metropolis.
