Kathmandu Metropolitan City to assist five more schools with technical classes

Kathmandu: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to conduct technical subjects in five more schools.

The metropolis, which has been conducting technical classes from class nine to 12 in two schools since last fiscal year, has called for applications to expand the program to five more schools.

The cost of computer engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, crop science and animal science classes will be bear by the metropolitan city. Schools interested to conduct technical stream classes can apply.

The interested schools must have a classroom that can accommodate up to 50 students, capacity to provide thematic laboratories required for experimental practice, has one / one teacher of science, mathematics and English subjects with postgraduate qualifications, open space for experimental practice and according to the number of students.

Schools with canteens that can arrange food / meals can apply.
