India’s ‘Disco King’ Bappi Lahari dies

Kathmandu: Veteran Indian singer and musician Bappi Lahari has passed away at the age of 70 this morning.

After a month of treatment, he was discharged from Hospital only on Monday. However, he was taken to the hospital last night due to health problems. He died at a Mumbai hospital while undergoing treatment, Indian media reported.

Bappi Lahari is also known as Disco King in India. Bollywood’s most popular songs in the music industry are ‘I’m a Disco Dancer’, ‘Yaar Bina Chen Kahan Re’, ‘Raat Baki’, ‘Bombay Se Aaya Mera Dost’.
