Govt to mobilize inspection team to monitor home isolation

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has decided to mobilize a team to monitor the corona infected patients staying at home isolation in the Kathmandu Valley.

Ministry spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that the clusters will be set up at the ward level of the valley to monitor the infected people in home quarantine or isolation.

Due to the increasing risk of infection in the daily valley, the ministry has made the preparations to make the work of contact tracing effective.

Lately, the infection has been spreading rapidly in the Kathmandu Valley due to lack of tracing work.

Also, the team is preparing to set up a team from the ward level saying that there will be more problems due to lack of reliable data and information about the infected people in home isolation.
