Govt raise fuel price twice a week

Kathmandu: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has again increased the price of fuel.

Petrol, diesel and kerosene have been increased by Rs 10 per liter with effect from midnight on Sunday.

Now a liter of petrol will cost Rs 180 while kerosene and diesel will cost Rs 163.

The price of LP gas for cooking has also increased by Rs 200 per cylinder. Now it costs Rs 1,800 per cylinder.

The price of aviation turbine fuel in domestic sector has also gone up. The price has been increased by Rs 10 to Rs 166 per liter.

As the price of refined oil continues to rise in the international market, the corporation claims that even after this price adjustment, there will be a monthly loss of Rs 1 billion on petrol, Rs 3.40 billion on diesel and Rs 3 billion on LP gas.
