Govt providing free garment machine operating training to 500 women

Kathmandu: The Foreign Employment Board is going to provide free skill training for garment machine operators from the first week of next month to women who are preparing to go for foreign employment.

In issuing a notice on Thursday, the board has called upon interested women who have made passports or who have submitted revenue to the related agencies to contact them within seven days if they wish to take garment machine operator skill training.

This skill training will be provided by nine different training providers in Kathmandu Valley. In the first phase, the board is providing this skill training to 500 people.

Must be 18 years old and less than 35 years old to take this skill training. The application form can be submitted free of charge.

This skill training will be residential. There is no need to pay for this training with food and lodging facilities.
