Govt directs to close all cooperative institutions

Kathmandu: The Department of Cooperatives has requested the cooperatives across the country to halt heir services except for the essential ones.

The department has urged the cooperatives to suspend their regular services until the situation improves as the second wave of corona virus (Covid-19) epidemic is affecting the country.

Deputy Registrar of the Department Surendra Raj Poudel in the notice issued today in the name of all the cooperatives and organizations regarding the service flow has asked the cooperatives and organizations operating across the country to carry out their activities with very little manpower if there is any emergency works.

As the second wave of coronavirus is highly contagious, the government has issued a restraining order in most districts of the country to control it and prevent further loss of life and property.
