Govt directs authorities to collect report of damages caused by floods and landslides

Kathmandu: A meeting of the Central Security Committee has been held under the chairmanship of Home Minister Balkrishna Khad has directed the authorities to collect and submit the report of damages caused by the flood and landslides across the country.

In the meeting, Home Minister Khand directed to form a team consisting of officials from the Ministry of Home Affairs, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority and security agencies to conduct an on-site observation of the damage caused by floods and landslides in Humla, Jumla, Mugu and Kalikot and submit a report.

Home Minister Khand also said that the government is providing immediate relief to the affected citizens.
