Government plans to expand vaccination centers to 16,000

Kathmandu: The government plans to expand the vaccination center against COVID-19 to 16,000.

Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha has made public the government’s plan to increase the number of vaccination centers to 16,000 through his Twitter account.

State Minister Shrestha has written, “There are currently 4,422 vaccination centers. The government has planned to increase the supply of vaccines and distribute vaccines against COVID-19 from 16,000 vaccination centers.”

Minister of State for Health Umesh Shrestha had monitored the vaccination centers at Kathmandu-based Teaching Hospital and Chapali Heights on Monday.

State Minister Shrestha has reiterated his commitment to increase the supply of vaccines to all the citizens by mid-April, 2022.
