Kathmandu: Nepal has ranked on 81st position in the Global Hunger Index. In the recent global hunger index of 2022, the condition of Nepal is better than that of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Last year, Nepal was ranked 76th in this index out of 116 countries.
In the ranking of 121 countries, Nepal is at the 81st position while India is at the 107th position. Pakistan is at the 99th position while Bangladesh is at the 84th position.
In this list, Sri Lanka is seen in the best condition of South Asia. Sri Lanka, which is facing economic problems, is ranked 64th in this index.
Afghanistan, which is the weakest country in South Asia, is ranked 109th.
