Five people die in a road accident

Kathmandu: Five people have been killed when a bus and a car collided in Dhading.

According to the District Police Office, Dhading, five persons were killed when a bus leaving for Dhading from Kathmandu hit a car heading to Kathmandu.

The deceased have been identified as Dil Bahadur Basnet, 36, of Tanahu Khaireni, Bimal Chandra Agrawal, 35, Sadhana Agrawal, 35, Sandhya Agrawal, 40, and Rakesh Agrawal, 55.

All those who lost their lives in the accident were in the car. Drivers Dil Bahadur and Bimal Chandra succumbed to their injuries at the Teaching Hospital and others at the Trauma Center.

The injured have been undergoing treatment at Ram Pariyar Trauma Center, Kathmandu. He was riding in a bus. The cause of the accident has not been disclosed.
