Kathmandu: Chitwan Constituency No. 2 will hold a by-election on April 23.
The meeting of the Election Commission held today, Sunday, has decided to fix the date of the election to hold the by-election of the vacant member of the House of Representatives on April 23 in Chitwan 2.
Earlier, the position of MP of Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of the National Independent Party elected from this region, was revoked.
Commission has fixed the date of by-election in the vacant area after the cancellation of Lamichhane’s post.
