Kathmandu: One person died due to earthquake in Bajura.
Jamuna Rokaya of Gaumul Rural Municipality-2 died due to the earthquake that occurred in the afternoon.
One local person was injured in Gaumul Rural Municipality-1. Due to the earthquake, some houses in Gaumul Rural Municipality-7 and 8 were destroyed.
Similarly, four houses have been destroyed in Badimalika municipality and more details are being collected.
According to Nepal Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale took place at 2:43 in the afternoon, with its epicenter near Kolti in Bajura.
The shock of the earthquake was felt in the border areas of Nepal as well as India.
