Deuba’s candidacy upheld; EC says printing error on voting card

Kathmandu: The Chief Electoral Officer’s office has dismissed the complaint against Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s candidacy.

A complaint was filed that Deuba’s date of birth was different in the voter’s list and in the citizenship.

But Dadeldhura Chief Electoral Officer Balkrishna Wagle informed that there was a print mistake in the date of birth on the voter ID card.
