Kathmandu: A group of lawmakers from the ruling Democratic Party of the United States of America is scheduled to arrive in Nepal on Friday, April 22.
Four senators from the upper house of the US Congress, Mark Kelly, Christine Gillibrand, Corey Booker and Ed Markey, are expected to visit Nepal.
Along with them, Monder Jones, a member of the lower house of the House of Representatives, is also coming to Nepal.
Along with Nepal, he will visit Poland, UAE, India and Germany. During his visit to Nepal, bilateral diplomatic relations and relations between the parliaments of the two countries are also scheduled to be discussed.
Earlier, Senator Kelly had accompanied US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu to Kathmandu before the US aid project MCC was rectified.
