CPN leaders suggests PM Oli to postpone meeting

Kathmandu: Leaders close to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have suggested postponing Wednesday’s secretariat meeting.

This was suggested by the leaders close to PM Oli during a discussion held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

Deputy Prime Minister and Secretariat Member Ishwar Pokharel, Party General Secretary and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, Standing Committee Member Subash Nemwang, Standing Committee Member and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Gyawali, Gandaki Chief Minister and Standing Committee Member Prithvi Subba Gurung and others were present for the discussion.

A leader who participated in the discussion told Sethopati that it would be better to postpone the meeting for some time than to hold the meeting in the current situation.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Oli said that he would not allow the party to move around and would stand firmly for party unity.

The Prime Minister also said that he would move ahead after holding discussions with all.
