Bangladesh win friendly match against Nepal

Kathmandu: The second friendly football match between Nepal and Bangladesh ended in a draw. Nepal and Bangladesh drew 0-0 in the second match of the Mujibur Borso FIFA International Series on Tuesday. In the first friendly match played on Friday, Bangladesh won with 2-0 score.

In the two-match series, the home team Bangladesh has won and kept the trophy. Nepal, which lost the first match, could not take advantage of some scoring opportunities in the second match.

In the match played at Bugbandhu National Stadium in Dhaka, coach Bal Gopal Maharjan gave the responsibility of captaincy to Bharat Khawas. But in the 19th minute, goalkeeper Kiran Chemjong put on an armband after Navayug Shrestha entered the field in place of Bharat.

Three players Bikas Khawas, Eric Bista and Darshan Gurung, who made their debut in the first match, got the first choice in the second match. Vikas made his debut in the first game and played the full game.
