Kathmandu: Manoj Pandey, who was arrested on the charge of raping a girl in the name of beauty pageant, has been remanded in custody for five days.
The district court of Kathmandu has remanded him in custody and allowed him to be investigated for crimes against human trafficking and trafficking in children.
Following the victim’s statement, the court allowed the police to investigate. Meanwhile two more girls have lodged a FIR against Pandey.
