Kathmandu: A special ceremony has been held at Tundikhel in Kathmandu today on the occasion of Democracy Day.
Democracy Day is celebrated in Nepal on February 19 every year on the occasion of the end of 104 years of Rana rule.
The program organized in Tundikhel was attended by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota, ministers and high-ranking officials.
