Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 44 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 44 out of 2,798 people tested have been detected positive for corona infection.
In the same period, 17 people were cured and now 229 people are actively infected with corona in Nepal.
No one has died in 24 hours due to corona infection.
Meanwhile, an additional 136,000 people have been vaccinated against corona, the ministry said.
