Chinese vaccine for those above 40 years only

Kathmandu: The government is preparing to give the vaccine brought from China to citizens between the ages of 40 and 59.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. According to Jageshwor Gautam, Chinese vaccines are being prepared to be given to citizens between the ages of 40 and 59 from suitable hospitals for infrastructure.

The ministry will arrange different cards for them. The Chinese government has given 800,000 doses of vaccine to Nepal.

The vaccines were brought to Nepal on March 30. Gautam said that a decision on Chinese vaccination would be taken soon after consulting the Vaccination Advisory Committee.
