Kathmandu: The Biratnagar Airport, which was affected by the floods, will be closed till 5 pm on Thursday.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has informed the airport will remain closed due to the heavy rainfall. Accordingly, the airline companies have canceled flights scheduled for Thursday. Earlier, flights scheduled for Wednesday have also been canceled.
Meanwhile, airport, floods and when they blocked the same airport, including two aircraft are stuck in Biratnagar. One aircraft each of Buddha Air and Shree Airlines have stranded at Biratnagar.
