Bahrain’s royal family expedition team arrives to climb Mt. Everest

Kathmandu: A team of 16 people including Shaikh Mohammed Amad Al Khalifa, a member of the Bahraini royal family, has arrived Nepal to climb Mt. Everest. The expedition team arrived in Nepal today aboard a Bahrain Defense Force military aircraft.

The team consists of 13 Bahraini nationals and three British nationals serving in the Bahrain Defense Force.

The team has also brought a vaccine against the corona virus for the residents of Samagaun village in Chumanubri rural municipality of Gorkha.

This vaccine is being provided as support. The team will stay in Nepal for at least 80 days. Earlier, the team had climbed Lobuche and Manaslu in October 2020.
